Dreams are cries of pain—and the elixir of healing!

“All in the last week:
Last week I had a dream that I flew to the moon by myself and held it in my hand and came back down with ease.
Had a dream that I opened my suitcase and a bunch of cockroaches came out when I was on vacation.
Had a dream I was partying in my mansion (that I don’t have in real life) with my ex and two friends, one had a pink wig, and things went really south when my family showed up.
I wake up sweating sometimes. Not sure why I’m having these super vivid dreams all of a sudden.”

Dream Analysis:
These dreams, despite their different surface structures, follow a single pattern.
The Moon is the center of focus. The fact that the dreamer flies, reaches it, and lands easily suggests an inability to stay focused on goals and trouble following through with tasks. What interferes? The cockroaches and the intruding family. The dreamer is trapped in a cycle of intrusive and stressful thoughts that drain mental energy both at work and at rest, leading to exhaustion.
What is the remedy?
The dream symbols—direct flight to the Moon, the suitcase that can be closed, and the pink wig that gently protects the mind—all point toward healing. Caring for thoughts means mindfulness and focus on what one is doing. The dreamer must practice staying on course while eating, traveling, working, and more: keeping the Moon in sight, the suitcase closed, and the pink wig on—symbolizing full concentration on the goal.
“The source of strength can tie up a stick; once overflowing, it cannot tie up an elephant.”
